The Indonesia Xinyi Glass Project involves a total investment of approximately $1.15 billion, covering an area of about 370,000 square meters. It is planned to achieve a massive production capacity of 8,000 tons of float glass per day, with the goal of establishing Indonesia as a crucial export base for Xinyi Glass to serve the entire Southeast Asian market. The project fully leverages the top-tier infrastructure of the JIIPE Industrial Park, characterized by its "port-front and factory-rear" layout. It has been developed in phases and includes comprehensive factory facilities such as large-scale raw material storage, highly automated float glass production lines, environmentally friendly waste heat power generation, and flue gas treatment systems. Among these, the first production line was successfully ignited and commenced operations in the second half of 2023. Great Wall Steel serves as the primary supplier of steel reinforcement materials for the project.
