Zhongce Rubber has invested in and constructed the PT. Matahari Tire Indonesia (MTI) factory in Indonesia, located in the Kendal Industrial Park, Semarang City, Central Java Province, covering an area of approximately 500,000 square meters. With a total investment of about $280 million, this project represents Zhongce Rubber's second overseas manufacturing base. The first phase of the factory officially commenced production by the end of 2024, with the first all-steel radial tire successfully rolling off the production line, achieving construction and operational readiness within just a few months. MTI primarily produces truck/bus tires, two-wheeler tires, bias tires, inner tubes, and off-the-road tires, and is even equipped with a carbon black production line and comprehensive waste heat utilization facilities. Upon full completion, the project is expected to provide Zhongce with a stable foundation for international production capacity while serving both the local Southeast Asian market and the global market.
